Lenovo said its newly announced small Legion gaming tablet will launch in China in August 2026, adding 5G to the compact gaming-focused lineup.
The device surfaced at the Shenzhen Nuclear Fusion Gaming Carnival before Lenovo confirmed it as a separate variant of the Legion Y700.
An official render shows a punch-hole front camera and bezels similar to the current Legion Tab Gen 5, while the screen is expected to switch to OLED from the Y700's IPS panel.
Lenovo has not disclosed the chip yet; the tablet could use either the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 found in the larger model or a MediaTek Dimensity processor.
That display and connectivity mix could position the smaller Legion tablet as a stronger rival to the upcoming RedMagic Astra 2.
