June 30 and July 2 shows at Dickies Arena were moved to July 11 and July 13 after doctors told Geddy Lee to rest and recover.
Alex Lifeson said Lee could “barely speak, let alone sing” during soundcheck, and the band said it would not take the stage without being able to deliver a full performance.
Previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates, while fans who cannot attend can seek refunds through their original point of purchase.
This is Rush’s second Fort Worth postponement in a week after a June 24 show was delayed by travel and border-related production issues; the band still played June 26 and June 28.
