NotebookLM is rolling out 60-second vertical AI video summaries that turn uploaded sources into short clips for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers.
The feature generates AI narration and images from a selected notebook topic, and users can create a clip by choosing “Video,” then “Short,” in NotebookLM’s Studio panel.
Google’s example used Australia’s failed war on emus, pairing paper-cutout-style AI art with narration to show the TikTok-style format.
The short-form videos expand NotebookLM’s existing output options, which already include AI podcasts, cinematic videos and visual explainers.
English-only support is available first on web and app, with access for free users slated to arrive soon.
