Stockholm was chosen for its scale: the metro area has more than 30 data centres, carries 55% of Nordic internet traffic and hosts over 125 active network providers.
The exchange will run across multiple Stockholm-area data centres under DE-CIX International and plug customers into DE-CIX’s wider Nordic network and its global footprint of 60-plus locations connecting more than 4,000 networks.
