That is a strong package for performance, battery life and long-term ownership, especially at launch. The risk comes from Samsung’s own lineup. The newer Galaxy A36 reportedly closes much of the gap: it uses the same Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, also supports 45W charging, matches the six-year update promise, and adds IP67 water resistance. If the A36 arrives near the M47’s effective sale price, the M47 becomes a less obvious pick. But price is the key distinction.
