Josiane M.H. Pozi Stages 8-Channel 'In Pursuit of Feeling' Show in New York

Through July 3, Josiane M.H. Pozi’s solo exhibition at the American Academy of Arts and Letters fills a New York gallery with video installations, iPhones, LCDs and CRT-era references.
Eight-channel work “84,16,28,54 ejejecp” anchors the show, threading together clips made over eight years as black wires snake through the rooms and turn the installation into a physical network.
Works including “Omegle,” “Pingey,” “Rhythmic Stimming” and “m.c.” draw on online chat, family conversation and bedroom solitude to recast early internet culture as intimate rather than algorithmic.
