Türkiye Consumer Confidence Climbs to 87.9, Highest in More Than 3 Years

87.9 was Türkiye’s consumer confidence reading in June, up from 85.8 in May and the strongest level since May 2023, TurkStat said.
The rise reflected less pessimism among households, though the index remained below 100, the threshold that signals an optimistic outlook.
89.5 was the reading for households’ financial expectations over the next year, up from 87.9, while views on the general economy improved to 83.9 from 81.4.
72.3 was the index for households’ current financial situation, up from 69.2, and willingness to spend on durable goods strengthened to 105.9 from 104.5.
