Nearly 50% charge remained on the Galaxy S26 Ultra after a full day, an overnight idle stretch and 5 hours 37 minutes of screen time, with the phone still lasting until 7 p.m. the next day.
That performance beat expectations because Samsung kept the battery at 5,000mAh, a spec that initially suggested little improvement over earlier Ultra models.
Heavier use also held up well: the phone finished hours-long road trips with wireless Android Auto, music streaming and GPS navigation with more than 35% left at bedtime.
60W charging added to the result, reaching 68% from 30% in under 20 minutes in one test and outperforming Samsung's past charging speeds.
The strong endurance stood out enough for the reviewer to switch from a Pixel 10 Pro hit by battery drain, underscoring battery life as a bigger upgrade than the spec sheet implied.
