Brooklyn Park Stabbing Kills 1, Leaves 1 Critical as NYPD Detains Person of Interest

A 21-year-old man died and a 30-year-old man remained in critical condition after both were stabbed Saturday at Dyker Beach Park in Brooklyn.
NYPD said officers answered a 911 call just before 2 p.m. near 86th Street and 14th Avenue in the 68th Precinct and found both men with stab wounds to their bodies.
EMS took the victims to Maimonides Medical Center in critical condition, where the younger man was later pronounced dead.
Police have not released the dead man's identity pending family notification and said a person of interest is in custody.
No motive has been disclosed, and the NYPD said the investigation is ongoing.
