Bella Hadid Reveals Severe Lyme Flare-Up After 15-Year Battle

Bella Hadid, 29, said she is in a severe Lyme disease flare-up she has not been able to “shake off,” posting tearful Instagram stories about exhaustion, breathlessness and fainting fears.
11 hours of sleep, daily naps and “every protocol” from doctors have not brought relief, she said, adding that long episodes can trigger severe isolation and depression.
Early Friday, Hadid told followers not to worry, saying the condition’s daily “ebb and Flo” has been her reality for 15 years and is something she can now cope with to a degree.
Hadid said the flare-up reflects frustration that her body cannot match what her mind wants to do; she has previously disclosed major hospitalizations in 2023 and 2025 before returning to the runway.
