An 800mAh battery and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite chip headline newly revealed Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 specs, pointing to longer battery life and faster performance than the first model.
The watch is expected to keep a 1.5-inch circular Super AMOLED display with at least 3,000 nits brightness, while adding a refined design, 20mm silicone strap, and Titanium Grey and Silver options.
Samsung is also tipped to pair the chip with 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, plus dual-band GNSS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4 LE, and sensors for SpO2, body composition, sleep, VO2 max, and workouts.
Advanced health features listed include AGEs, Antioxidant Index, and Vascular Load, with the device running One UI 9 Watch based on Wear OS 7.
July 22 is the rumored unveiling date at Galaxy Unpacked, with preorders possibly opening the same day, sales starting August 5, and US pricing holding at $699.
