Father Carlos Martins Recounts Exorcism in Which Woman Hurled Man 15 Feet

Martins said on Sean Hannity’s podcast that a woman he was exorcising lifted a large man and threw him 15 feet across a room, while he himself suffered skull injuries that later required two surgeries.
He also described objects moving without contact, saying a wall-plate screw unscrewed itself, flew into the woman’s hand and was then driven into her arm.
Martins said he has encountered “multiple dozens” of allegedly possessed people, including a man who hissed like a cat and a 14-year-old girl whose reflection he said did not appear in mirrors or photographs.
The Catholic priest said 1973 film The Exorcist was largely accurate about extraordinary strength during exorcisms, though he rejected the movie’s 360-degree head-turn scene.
Martins added that every Catholic diocese is required to have at least one exorcist and warned that not every priest can perform the rite because “you can get yourself hurt really easily.”
