What makes it more than a cosmetic rename is the depth of the overhaul. Lisa Vanderpump and design partner Nick Alain reworked rooms, public spaces, bars and the rooftop experience around a tightly controlled “romantic industrial” aesthetic. New signature elements such as the Gigolo bar, custom furnishings, a distinct color palette, queer-friendly positioning and heavy personal branding give the property a coherence the Cromwell arguably lacked. The business innovation is less architectural than strategic. Caesars is testing whether a reality-TV personality with a proven restaurant following can convert fandom into overnight stays and destination travel. That is unusual on the Strip at this scale, especially with a hotel tied so directly to one celebrity’s lifestyle brand and amplified by a Bravo series documenting the launch. So the answer is both: not a ground-up innovation, but a sophisticated reinvention. The bones are Cromwell; the sell is Vanderpump.

Vanderpump, 65, said she aimed for an intimate, immersive feel rather than a sprawling resort, with custom furnishings, floral touches and the Gigolo cocktail lounge named for her late dog Giggy.
The launch marks her latest move beyond reality TV and restaurants, building a broader lifestyle brand around the hotel’s “Misbehaving accordingly” identity.
