“Sun Has Set,” the lead single, arrived with a first-person video showing beabadoobee beating someone up before abruptly falling asleep; she said the song channels “petty tunnel vision” and unsaid anger.
Hayley Williams, Brendan Yates, Evan Stephens, Chino Moreno, and The 1975’s Matty Healy and George Daniel are among the featured collaborators, underscoring the album’s grunge, Midwest emo and ’90s radio-rock influences.
The rollout also includes an international tour spanning North America and Europe, with arena dates including Madison Square Garden on Oct. 5 and London’s O2 on Nov. 18.
