11 Senators Urge Trump to Remove Moms.gov Over 2,400-2,800 Anti-Abortion Centers

Summary
Eleven Democratic senators asked Donald Trump and Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to take down Moms.gov or remove its pregnancy-center links, saying the HHS site steers users to anti-abortion crisis pregnancy centers.
The lawmakers said those centers are often unregulated, non-medical facilities that are not bound by HIPAA and can provide misleading reproductive-health information, creating health, safety and privacy risks for pregnant people.
Moms.gov, launched by HHS on Mother’s Day as a resource for new and expecting mothers, is described by the administration as a one-stop hub for maternal and infant health and support during difficult pregnancies.
A White House spokesperson defended the site and said the administration would keep expanding resources for expectant mothers, while the senators demanded details on how the website was created and operated.
The clash comes as abortion access remains sharply reduced after Dobbs, with senators noting 21 states have banned or severely restricted abortion and a GAO report estimating 2,400 to 2,800 crisis pregnancy centers operated in 2025.
