Firmware version A356EXXU9EZF1 has appeared on Samsung’s server for the Galaxy A35, signaling the midrange phone is now in active One UI 9.0 development.
The build appears to be newer than One UI 8.5 under Samsung’s naming convention, pointing to an Android 17-based update moving a step closer to release.
Samsung only recently finished its promised One UI 8.5 rollout, which was based on Android 16 QPR2, and has since shifted focus to preparing One UI 9.0 for more Galaxy devices.
One UI 9.0 was unveiled last month and beta-tested on the Galaxy S26 series; Samsung is expected to launch the stable version next month with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8 before wider eligible-device rollouts.
