Summary
Netflix is developing a series based on Alix E. Harrow’s bestseller “The Everlasting” after winning the rights in a competitive process.
Daphne Ferraro — previously head writer on Amazon’s “Maxton Hall” and also credited on “Dark” — will write and executive produce alongside Harrow, Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Katy Rozelle and Lea Cuello.
The project comes from Universal Global Television and centers on Sir Una Everlasting, a legendary female knight, and Owen Mallory, a historian pulled into a repeating time-loop that could let them rewrite history.
If ordered to series, it would extend Netflix’s book-adaptation slate, which includes “The Queen’s Gambit,” “Bridgerton” and “Leave the World Behind.”
