Summary
March 23, 2027 marks the start of Lincoln Center Theater’s Broadway revival of The Sound of Music, with Tony nominee Jasmine Amy Rogers cast as Maria for a 17-week run at the Vivian Beaumont.
The season’s other mainstage anchor is Aaron Sorkin’s A Few Good Men, beginning October 8 and opening October 29 with Bradley Whitford and Tom Blyth in the first Broadway revival of the play.
At the Mitzi E. Newhouse, Lincoln Center will add August Wilson’s Seven Guitars from November 5, Kimberly Belflower’s Born in the Dirt from April 14, 2027, and the American premiere of Playing Burton starring Matthew Rhys.
The wider 2026-27 lineup also includes LCT3 world premieres and the summer run of The Whoopi Monologues, extending Lear deBessonet’s second season after Lincoln Center’s Tony-winning Ragtime revival.
