11,460 bottles of Chlorthalidone Tablets USP, 25 mg, were pulled in a nationwide voluntary recall that Inventia Healthcare initiated on June 5, according to an FDA alert.
The tablets failed dissolution specifications, meaning the blood pressure medicine may not dissolve properly in the body and could affect how the treatment works.
The recall covers 100-count bottles from batch RISA24001 and 1,000-count bottles from batch RISB24002, both marked with April 2027 expiration dates.
Rising Pharma Holdings in New Jersey distributed the affected products, extending the issue across the U.S. supply chain rather than a single local market.
