July 9 marks the start of Honkai: Nexus Anima’s limited free “Evolution Test,” a closed beta for PC, iOS and Android with no end date yet announced.
Sign-ups are live on the official website, and miHoYo said access will go to a selected group of players who pre-register and complete the recruitment survey; test data will be wiped afterward.
The beta expands the Honkai spin-off with new characters, Anima, regions and gameplay systems, centering on creature collection, strategy battles and exploration across multiple Planes.
Iia, the starting town in the Reality Plane, will be more fully explorable, while players can bond with evolving Anima, name them, take photos and encounter rare Chromatic variants.
