RM20 million has been set aside for Selangor’s new Pembiayaan Dana Pantas Usahawan scheme, offering RM10,000 interest-free financing with a three-year repayment period to 2,000 aspiring entrepreneurs.
Applications will be made through the Dana Plus by Hijrah Selangor app, part of Phase Two of the state’s Selangor Resilience Strengthening Package worth RM209.26 million.
Another 6,000 entrepreneurs with existing Yayasan Hijrah Selangor loans can seek interest- and penalty-free restructuring under a recovery initiative aimed at businesses hit by supply disruptions.
A separate RM4 million PLATS career-transition programme will open 5,000 slots for unemployed people to move into entrepreneurship, with 12 months of internet support, training access and allowances.
Selangor also allocated RM1.5 million for its career-matching programme, targeting 30,000 job seekers and working with Perkeso and industries including retail, manufacturing and logistics.
