Carrie Underwood, 43, posted an Instagram video of a fence lined with American flags along her Tennessee property, captioning it, “I can’t believe I get to live here. Thank you, Lord.”
The post drew supportive comments from fans who praised the display as patriotic, with one veteran saying it made painful experiences “a little less painful.”
The video echoes Underwood’s public patriotism from January 2025, when she sang “America the Beautiful” at Donald Trump’s inauguration after a music failure forced her to perform a cappella.
That inauguration appearance split opinion at the time, drawing criticism from some commentators while supporters, including Lee Greenwood, defended her decision to take part.
Underwood, who won American Idol in 2005 and has sold more than 22.5 million U.S. albums, returned to the show as a judge in 2025.
