Lexington County's coroner positively identified the woman found Wednesday near Old Cherokee Road and Northlake Drive as missing person Elena K. Moore.
A 10 a.m. autopsy is scheduled for Saturday at MUSC in Charleston, with the cause and manner of death expected to be released Monday.
Police found the body during a multijurisdictional search near Lakeside Middle School after Moore had last been seen on June 11 leaving Planet Fitness and later walking near a Publix on Old Cherokee Road.
