All 157 stations on Mediabase’s country panel added “I Knew It, I Knew You” on June 10, instantly closing the panel in a feat achieved only three times before.
The sweep marked Swift’s return to country radio more than a decade after she said before 2015’s “1989” that she was no longer a country artist.
The song’s early radio embrace could strengthen its awards profile as “Toy Story 5” heads toward the 2027 Oscars’ best original song race.
Swift has written film songs for 17 years without an Oscar nomination, though “Carolina” from “Where the Crawdads Sing” reached the Academy shortlist.
A nomination would also test two long-running gaps at the Academy: uneven recognition for “Toy Story” songs and the lack of a true country hit winning best original song.
