Amazon Cuts Apple Watch Ultra 3 by Up to $99 in Early Prime Day Push

For most buyers, the best move is to buy now on the Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Series 11, and wait only if you are targeting the cheaper SE-tier or hoping to gamble on a very small extra Prime Day drop. The Ultra 3 deal looks especially strong. Amazon’s roughly $99 discount, bringing it to about $700, is rare: it matches Black Friday 2025 pricing and sits only about $20 above the best brief low seen late last year. Multiple deal trackers describe this as near the best price ever, and Ultra discounts have not lasted long. That makes waiting for Prime Day a risk for only a modest possible reward. The Series 11 is also already at or near its best price. The 42mm GPS model at $299 and the 46mm GPS model at $329 are widely described as record lows or tied for record lows. Some forecasts suggest Prime Day could shave another $20 or so off certain Series 11 models, but others say this is likely as low as it gets. In practical terms, the current price is already strong enough that most shoppers should not wait. The refurbished Ultra 2 is a different calculation. The discount is large, but it is sold through Amazon Renewed, not Apple Certified Refurbished. That means a shorter 90-day warranty and battery health that may be only 80% or better. It is a value buy, but with more risk. If you want the Ultra 3 or Series 11, buy now. If you are bargain hunting and can tolerate uncertainty, Prime Day may bring slightly better prices, but probably not dramatically better ones.
