Six people were arrested after a June 6 brawl at the 601 Sand Bar on the Congaree River, where authorities say more than 20 people were involved and additional arrests are possible.
Videos reviewed by the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office show multiple fights breaking out at once, including people trading punches on shore and wrestling in knee-deep water as crowds watched and recorded.
At least three people suffered injuries including swollen eyes and head wounds, and Sheriff Thomas Summers said alcohol and numerous cases of underage drinking contributed to the violence.
The fight erupted during the annual Sparkleberry Duck Run, a popular boating event, and the six suspects face assorted assault and breach-of-peace charges as investigators keep seeking public tips.
