The Landing Place Hosts June 24 Open House for Employment Program Backed by B.C.'s $16 Million

June 24 is the date for The Landing Place’s open house in Fort St. John, where it will showcase its Community-Based Employment Services from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 10328 101st Avenue.
CBES is a voluntary, low-barrier program for adults facing barriers to work, including housing instability, mental health issues and substance use, according to Employment Connection North.
Fort St. John was selected as 1 of 22 B.C. communities to offer CBES, and The Landing Place was announced in June as the local support organization delivering the service.
B.C. said in April it would invest $16 million in CBES across the province, placing the Fort St. John open house within a broader provincial employment-support rollout.
