Gaming gains are real, helped by higher GPU power limits and newer Nvidia drivers, yet the RTX 5070 Ti is still fundamentally the same class of graphics hardware. Some of the performance uplift also depends on DLSS and frame generation, which can add latency or artifacts in certain games. Under load, fan noise remains a clear drawback. The 2026 G14 makes sense for buyers who want the best compact gaming laptop Asus offers, especially creators who will use the brighter OLED, SD card slot, Thunderbolt 4, and AI acceleration. If your priority is price-to-performance, the 2025 G14 at $2,599 remains the smarter buy.
