Summary
June 19's "Persona 4 Revival TV" gave the first detailed look at Sega's remake, showing expanded combat, daily-life systems and Persona growth beyond the already announced Feb. 18, 2027 release date.
Combat gets the biggest redesign: a new Guard Action can stagger Shadows or avoid fights, while Knockback, Baton Touch and Bokosuka Rush build on the series' turn-based weakness and All-Out Attack system.
Daily life in Inaba has been broadened with Community bonds and new Human Parameters, tying school, jobs and social choices more directly to combat skills, stat boosts and available interactions.
Sega also said all dialogue has been re-recorded and fully voiced, the soundtrack remastered with new tracks, and the UI, battle tempo and dungeon exploration reworked for what producer Kazuhisa Wada called a more stress-free modern experience.
The remake still preserves Persona 4's core structure from the 2008 PS2 original and Persona 4 Golden, including Wild Card Persona switching and Velvet Room fusion, while aiming to keep Inaba's atmosphere intact.
