USA TODAY said the AI model was prompted after the college withdrawal deadline to use 13 recent mock drafts, team needs, workouts and draft intel, though picks shifted outside the top four.
Keaton Wagler at No. 10 to Milwaukee stood out as a notable reach versus his average No. 5 slot, while Oklahoma City’s Hannes Steinbach at No. 12 also came in above his average No. 16 position.
Microsoft Copilot still showed accuracy issues in the exercise, requiring extra prompts after several prospects were initially assigned to the wrong teams.
