Honor has previewed MagicOS 11, an Android 17 update whose interface closely mirrors Apple’s Liquid Glass look, with glass-like halos around apps, buttons, controls and notifications.
The redesign appears in testing on the Honor Magic 8 series, where even elements such as the large lock-screen clock resemble Apple’s iPhone-style presentation.
Honor is expected to expand the update to other models later this year, suggesting a broader rollout could arrive within weeks.
The release highlights how closely some Android brands now track Apple’s software design language, even as that convergence raises fresh questions about differentiation in smartphones.
