Summary
Three new Freak X models join Ulysse Nardin’s permanent collection, led by a fully reengineered second-generation design marking the brand’s 180th anniversary and the Freak’s 25th year.
The overhaul centers on the new in-house UN-232 calibre, developed over more than two years with 216 components, a 72-hour power reserve and the first integrated rose-gold micro-rotor in a Freak.
DIAMonSIL escapement technology replaces the prior silicon architecture, while the case shrinks to 41mm from 43mm and thickness falls to 10.35mm for a more wearable profile.
A monobloc case, screw-down crown and glassbox sapphire crystal lift daily-use credentials, doubling water resistance to 100 meters and improving movement visibility.
Prices start at CHF 33,500 for the steel Grey model, rise to CHF 34,500 for the steel Blue bracelet version, and reach CHF 52,000 for the rose-gold Gold edition.
