Even the mid-tier is attractive, and the full package costs far less than buying just one or two of those games separately. That flexibility matters because the Steam Frame remains uncertain. Valve has not announced a price, and reports point to a premium range around $899 to $1,000 or more, with memory-chip costs still affecting launch timing. The headset is expected to be a standalone, streaming-first device for PC VR, but its exact release window and final economics are still unsettled. So the real question is not whether the bundle is good value; it is whether you are comfortable buying software before knowing the hardware cost. If you already own a compatible PC VR setup, or expect to buy into VR eventually regardless of headset brand, this is a sensible purchase. If your entire plan depends on the Steam Frame being affordable and arriving soon, waiting for Valve’s price and launch details is the safer move.
