Apple Brings Siri AI to Apple Watch in watchOS 27 for Series 9 and Newer

watchOS 27 will add Siri AI to Apple Watch, extending Apple’s upgraded assistant to the wrist even though the feature is missing from the first developer beta.
Two years after Apple’s 2024 AI rollout largely skipped the watch, the update adds a dedicated Siri app and positions the device as a more independent AI wearable.
Apple says watchOS 27 support starts with Apple Watch Series 9, Ultra 2 and SE 3, limiting the feature to newer hardware.
AirPods already offer a screen-free Siri AI experience through iOS 27 beta 1, and that setup is expected to complement Apple Watch much as it does the iPhone.
If the rollout works as promised, Apple Watch could become Apple’s first mainstream wearable built around everyday AI access.
