Amazon Launches Early Prime Day Apple Deals With Up to $180 Off iPads, Watches and AirPods

Q: Are Amazon's early Prime Day Apple deals truly the best prices, or are deeper discounts and better value still to come?

Most of Amazon’s early Prime Day Apple deals are good, but not the best prices likely to appear. The strongest evidence suggests deeper discounts are still to come once Prime Day officially starts on June 23. The clearest exception is the AirPods Pro 3 at $179. Multiple deal trackers describe that as a record low or effectively the lowest price seen, making it one of the few early deals worth locking in now. The 15-inch MacBook Air at $1,099 is another standout, already at a record low and widely viewed as hard to beat. For most other Apple products, waiting looks smarter. The Apple Watch Series 11 is $299 now, but experts expect it could fall to about $279. The 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 is discounted to $1,549, yet its known low is $1,499. The latest iPad Pro is on sale, but analysts are watching for lower targets around $799 for the 11-inch and $1,149 for the 13-inch. AirPods 4 at $99 are decent, though they have previously dropped as low as $69. That caution is backed by broader Prime Day pricing history. Analysis of the 2025 event found many advertised discounts were not true lows, and nearly half of tracked products actually rose in price before or during the sale. Retailers also tend to save their sharpest “hero” discounts for the main event. The practical takeaway is simple: buy now only if the item is at or near a verified record low. Otherwise, better value is likely still ahead.
