Schlage says its new Converge technology goes beyond geofencing by reading speed, trajectory and motion to unlock as a user reaches the door.
Sense Pro is Schlage’s first lock with Matter over Thread, pairing with Thread-enabled Apple hubs for low-latency smart-home control while built-in Wi-Fi enables remote management in the Schlage Home app.
The app supports up to 250 access codes, timed auto-lock and three hands-free modes; the lock is rated for up to six months of battery life and includes a USB-C jumpstart port.
Later this year, Aliro certification is expected to add Samsung Wallet and Google Wallet digital keys, extending UWB hands-free unlock and NFC tap-to-unlock beyond Apple devices.
