Wimbledon confirmed Serena and Venus Williams will enter the women’s doubles draw on a wild card, marking their first appearance together there since 2016.
The reunion follows Serena’s return from nearly four years away earlier this month at Queen’s Club, where she resumed doubles play alongside 19-year-old Victoria Mboko.
Venus is also in comeback mode after returning last year at the D.C. Open following a yearlong hiatus, while neither sister is currently entered in Wimbledon singles.
Serena said her children helped drive the comeback and left open a possible singles return, though she said she would need more training first.
