Summary
Mewtwo X and Mewtwo Y headlined the end of each Go Fest Copenhagen timeslot with a new raid format that had players fight together, then raise their phones to break shields and catch the boss.
More than 2,000 players joined one Saturday lobby, turning on phone lights as they charged Pokémon — a mechanic that made participation visible across the park and emphasized the event’s mass-community play.
The Copenhagen festival also added a first LEGO Play tent, citywide stamp rally and Team Rocket-themed activations, alongside PvP, quizzes, merch and AR photo booths.
The June 12-14 event had already sold out 60,000 Fælledparken gameplay tickets and drew 74,275 ticketed participants, making Copenhagen Europe’s first sold-out Pokémon Go Fest.
