Bitzero Signs 15-Year, 110MW Norway AI Lease Worth Up to $2.6 Billion

OneQode signed a binding 15-year lease for the full 110 megawatts at Bitzero’s Norway AI data center, with first deployment targeted in the first half of 2027.
The deal is valued at up to $2.6 billion, and Bitzero said about 85% should convert to net income because the tenant will cover electricity costs.
Bitzero says the site benefits from 3-4 cent per kilowatt-hour hydro power and grandfathered grid access secured before Norway capped new data-center projects at 5 megawatts.
The agreement lands as AI infrastructure spending accelerates but new power supply lags, with major tech groups having pledged in March to fund the electricity and grid build-out their AI projects require.
Bitzero is pitching that scarcity as a broader advantage across more than 1 gigawatt of power assets in Norway, Finland and North Dakota.
