That should make on-device AI faster, improve multitasking, and likely deliver better computational photography and battery management. Even with the same 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide, and roughly the same 4,300mAh battery, Samsung could still produce better low-light shots, cleaner portraits, and modestly longer real-world battery life through processing and chip efficiency. But that value has limits. If the Z Flip 8 gets a $100 to $200 price increase, the argument weakens quickly. Buyers paying a premium usually expect visible hardware progress in cameras, battery capacity, or charging speed, and current leaks suggest little change there. AI can improve output and convenience, but it cannot fully replace better optics, a larger battery, or faster charging. For buyers coming from a Z Flip 6 or older, the total package could be worth it because the gains would include performance, software longevity, and AI features. For Z Flip 7 owners, it looks more like an incremental upgrade.
