Tuesday’s runoff pits Collins against Derek Dooley, the former football coach backed by Gov. Brian Kemp after neither candidate cleared 50% in last month’s crowded primary.
The contest also tests Trump’s sway in Georgia after his late Iowa endorsement failed to lift Randy Feenstra, though he rebounded last week with a strong South Carolina result.
Ossoff enters the general-election phase with a large fundraising edge, making Georgia one of the GOP’s top pickup targets in the 2026 midterms.
