Comcast Expands Internet to 5,500 Homes Across 300 Miles in 2 Wisconsin Counties

Construction is underway in Manitowoc and St. Croix counties on a Comcast network buildout that will bring high-speed internet access to more than 5,500 additional homes.
Nearly 300 miles of expansion are planned, with Manitowoc County work covering the townships of Cato, Centerville, Liberty, Manitowoc Rapids, Manitowoc, Meeme and Newton.
The company said the project is aimed at giving families and businesses more reliable broadband for work, learning and other digital-economy needs, alongside its Xfinity Mobile offering.
First customers are expected to become serviceable by the end of 2026, with the broader construction project scheduled for completion by the end of 2027.
