Summary
Eight new dynamic updates landed alongside this week’s Patch Tuesday releases, covering Windows 11 versions 26H1, 25H2, 24H2 and 23H2, plus multiple Windows 10 and Windows Server editions.
Most packages target the Windows Recovery Environment, while KB5095971 specifically updates Windows 11 23H2 setup binaries used during feature upgrades.
Microsoft said the updates are designed for existing Windows images before deployment and help preserve language packs and Features on Demand during upgrades.
Updated WinRE builds include 10.0.28000.2269 for Windows 11 26H1, 10.0.26100.8655 for 24H2/25H2 and 10.0.19041.7417 for Windows 10 21H2/22H2.
The recovery and setup packages will download and install automatically through Windows Update, extending the June 9 servicing wave beyond the main Patch Tuesday fixes.
