Square Enix Launches £49.99 RPG The Adventures of Elliot on June 18

June 18 is the full-release date for The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, Square Enix’s new action RPG coming to Steam, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X.
The game follows explorer Elliot and fairy companion Faie on a “thousand-year mission,” pairing action-based combat with support abilities and an HD-2D presentation Square Enix has refined through Octopath Traveler and related titles.
A 90-minute Steam demo had already drawn strong fan reaction, with players on Reddit comparing its gameplay feel to a 2D Zelda and praising its interactive features.
The launch lands as Zelda interest is rising again after an Ocarina of Time remake was confirmed earlier this week, positioning Square Enix’s title as a near-term fantasy RPG alternative.
