10 U.S. states supported Google Wallet digital IDs as of June 2026, and unsupported users can add a passport-based ID Pass for domestic flights even without REAL ID.
Physical ID is still required as backup because digital IDs are convenience tools only, and manually added ticket screenshots will not update automatically.
