McLean County Storms Leave 4,000 Ameren Customers Without Power After 70 mph Gusts

A large uprooted tree crashed onto a 10-unit apartment building in Bloomington, and another blocked part of Fell Avenue in Normal; no injuries were reported.
The National Weather Service logged 70 mph wind gusts, while a tornado warning covering Bloomington-Normal was canceled as the storm weakened.
Outside McLean County, a reported tornado in Streator destroyed several homes without fatalities, and an unconfirmed tornado was reported in Fulton County.
