Austin became a maze of escorts and checkpoints, Saad said: a driver dropped him in a canyon, a black van verified his name, a gate opened, and another guide emerged before he reached Musk.
10 seconds after following the final escort, Saad said, he was "hugging it out" with Musk and later joked to his wife that the experience made him feel like James Bond.
