Tulsa County Posts 4.4% Wage Growth, Only Large Oklahoma County With 0.9% Job Gain

Tulsa County’s average weekly wages rose 4.4% in 2025, the fastest among Oklahoma’s three largest counties and slightly above the 4.2% national increase.
Tulsa was also the only one of the state’s largest counties to add jobs between December 2024 and December 2025, with employment up 0.9%, according to new Bureau of Labor Statistics data.
Oklahoma County posted 3.9% wage growth and Cleveland County 3.8%, but all three remained below the U.S. average weekly wage of $1,569.
Among smaller counties, Dewey County had Oklahoma’s highest average weekly wage at $1,522, while McIntosh County had the lowest at $767, underscoring wide pay gaps across the state.
