Indonesia’s e-Sertifikasi database listed Suunto Core 2 on June 4 under certificate 122484/DJID/2026, identifying model OW245 as a Suunto outdoor watch and adding a second pre-launch certification trail.
OW245 matches the earlier FCC filing, and the Indonesian entry uses “SUUNTO OW245” as the marketing name, reinforcing that the unreleased device is moving through regional approvals rather than sitting in an internal filing.
The new listing adds no hardware details or images, but the FCC filing already pointed to a CR3032 replaceable coin-cell battery, Bluetooth LE support and 100m water resistance.
Those clues suggest a modern revival of Suunto’s original Core formula—rugged, outdoor-first and not a full rechargeable smartwatch—with pricing, display, size and launch timing still undisclosed.
A September 2026 window remains a key possibility because of the FCC confidentiality period, while the fresh June certification indicates the launch process is still active.
