Westfield Specialty has opened a new UK and Europe liability portfolio, naming former Everest executives Keith Knight as class underwriter and Andy Skinner as deputy class underwriter.
The portfolio will write a broad range of liability risks for clients operating across multiple jurisdictions, extending Westfield’s casualty offering beyond traditional Lloyd’s-focused geographies.
Ross MacDonald said the launch supports Westfield’s strategy to grow its book by taking on new risks while maintaining disciplined risk selection and profitability.
The move builds on Westfield Specialty International’s Luxembourg company-market setup at the end of 2025 as it expands its European liability presence.
